In March 2020, we recognized that we were in the beginning of a worldwide pandemic, for the first time in over 100 years. This pandemic created a shift in the worldwide market that created a lack of necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) for healthcare workers around the world. Given Pamela’s experience, she was asked by a New York hospital if she could help to provide PPE during this crisis. She felt a responsibility to utilize her extensive product and factory knowledge to procure PPE for any hospital and healthcare facility that needed it. This was a natural evolution for Pamela, as she had been manufacturing products from fashion to furniture, and now PPE for over 30 years.
